Midnight Light exists to cultivate a fresh fire of love for Jesus and our neighbors that would never burn out. This is done by way of monthly devotionals and online gatherings.
A Fresh fire
I saw revival in my dreams the other night.
Men, women, and children were met by love.
There was peace in the streets of the inner cities.
And no one was opposed to another.
Joy was upon every face.
Safe space was all around us.
Homes were enjoyed by strangers and friends.
It was God’s love that rebuilt the city.
What could spark in us such a passion for loving our neighbor?
Who provides the fresh fire when love has grown cold?
I thank God that provision has been made.
Within the broken body and poured blood of Jesus is the hope of life that kindles our hearts.
May this shared communion spark in us a midnight light…
A fresh fire of love in the darkest of spaces that never burns out.
It is God’s love that rebuilds a city.
And surely we are not far from home.
